NOTE: The original shooting script called for the story to start current day and then have Phil and Nicole tell the story of how they met to their teenage daughter as she goes on her first prom. This would put the teenage Phil and Nicole some 20 years back. These two days of shooting comprised of the written scenes. We found two actors who matched Phil and Nicole, but after editing and previewing it before people it just wasn't working. This is one of the many joys of movie making. I was up late one night earnestly praying about it and then the wedding scenario came to me. I jumped out of bed around 11:30 and was done writing by 2:00 a.m. This is why the wedding is practically the last thing shot. A special thanks goes to the actors; X, Carmen Erickson, Emily Falkenstein, and X who gave of their time but never had the pleasure of seeing themselves on screen.
