Day 12 was a shorter day of montage pickup shots. We are shooting at the house of some friends, Damon and Elise Evans. They were helpful with my open casting calls. Here he talks with Jacob.
	Rick, busy as ever, uses an HMI to light from outside the window. Stephanie and Shelbi sit on the bed talking to Damon.
	Hey Rick, how about a shot?

	Mike's Drive-In, Oregon City, Oregon. This was a cute little burger joint. I originally called to see if we could use the restaurant and the owner was very inquisitive to the nature of the movie. In the past he had let another production company in to shoot. It was for a commercial that essentially said that working at a place like that was a dead-end job, the bottom rung of the ladder. So you can imagine, he was skeptical.
	We had the back half to ourselves. The script called for a dolly move. We did one, though it was tight quarters.
	Just about there. My son, Joshua, talks with the group as Sara and Caleb sit at the back table. They are on location today because later on we shoot the swing-set part of the "dating" montage.
